Also, you need to realize that professionalism and ethics go far when you are dealing with these customers. An unhappy customer is one that is not going to return. Several unhappy customers means a drop in profits. Many people are unaware exactly what is involved in excellent customer service. By learning about how to give great service to them, you are a step up from your competitors. When dealing with online communications and customer service, it is key to respect your clients all the time. If you violate a customer's trust, they will never use your services again. If they don't feel secure with you or your business, they will no longer be a client. You have a lot of competition out there and there are other businesses who want to poach your clients. Don't make this easy for them by disrespecting your customers. Never solicit your customers' email addresses, give them away or sell them to third parties, for this very reason. A lot of people are already wary of giving personal information over the internet. You need to put them at ease. When communicating with your online clients, it is always important to ensure that they know and understand exactly who you are and what your business is with them. You should always outline your name, the name of the home based internet business, a contact telephone number, and your intent on contacting them. In the same respect, you should also ensure that you direct them or persuade them to perform a certain action, as well as the reason why you want them to perform the task. This will help to ensure that you are communicating in a clear and concise manner. However, avoid being 'bossy' at all costs! It is important to thank the customer and let them know that you value them and their contribution to the success of the company, in order to ensure a great level of customer satisfaction. You should mention specific ways in which the customer has contributed. This adds value to the relationship you share with them. They will be pleased that they are valued and that your company really appreciates their business. If a customer feels happy, they are more likely to become a loyal customer and purchase more and recommend that other people use your services too!
